Is your TTRS no longer stock?
The REAPER V5 was not developed simply to make noise or to provide a "straight pipe" experience at the push of a button. Instead, it serves as a legal foundation for maximum flow capacity on turbo conversions that might otherwise get a bit out of hand, yet still need to be street-legal. In-house, we can connect the exhaust system to any downpipes and catalytic converters, modify the cats to fit 2 x 65mm up to 2 x 76mm, and arrange noise level testing with the TÜV to cover combinations with intakes, performance upgrades, turbochargers, etc., making a legal registration possible. We remain flexible in combining these components. Get in touch with us, and let's develop your project together!
Control:
The factory control system is retained. Depending on your driving profile (Comfort or Dynamic), the system switches to a sporty, aggressive sound or remains completely comfortable for long-distance cruising.
Scope of Delivery:
REAPER V5 exhaust system, registration-free with ECE approval
Mounting hardware
ECE type approval certificate (Betriebserlaubnis)
Why DTH?
The market is full of suppliers and exhaust systems from various manufacturers. Where are the differences?
We have been manufacturing exhaust systems in-house since 2009—and when we say completely in-house, we mean it.
Mufflers and Materials:
The mufflers of every DTH system are rolled from stainless steel sheets (VA), embossed with our signature stars, and then longitudinal-seam welded. In any muffler, the internals are subjected to the harshest environmental influences: burning 1 liter of fuel produces about 1 liter of acidic water, which attacks the muffler internals (such as perforated tubes) and causes them to corrode and rust. While V2A stainless steel is resistant to water, it is not resistant to acid!
This is why we are one of the very few manufacturers who produce our own perforated tubes from V4A stainless steel.
Sound:
Along with high-grade muffler materials, we use a special damping material that is temperature-resistant up to 1100°C. Combined with our specialized muffler design, this generates a truly unique sound.

Craftsmanship:
DTH systems are 100% TIG-welded. In this cleanest and finest of all welding methods, an electric arc burns between a hand-guided TIG torch with a tungsten electrode and the material being joined, melting them together. To prevent the material from burning, a technical shielding gas flows from the torch nozzle to protect the weld seam from oxygen. Into this molten pool of glowing gold, additional filler material is added by hand, forming a seam that permanently binds pipes, exhaust valves, and mufflers together for eternity.
However, there is a catch—literally. On the inside of welded pipes, there is normally no shielding gas atmosphere, meaning the externally glowing seam can burn under the influence of oxygen. Over time, this leads to gradual rusting and weakens the durability of the joint.
To counteract this, we seal the systems with special silicone plugs and fill the entire exhaust with argon. This creates a shielding gas atmosphere on the inside as well, preventing the seams from burning. Instead, they retain a golden finish both inside and out. This meticulous and costly process is called back-purging (Formieren)—the foundation for rust-free, rock-solid weld seams built to last forever.
System Design:
We develop our exhaust systems on our in-house all-wheel-drive dyno as part of a comprehensive performance package. As a rule, these systems can be combined with a higher-flow/thermo-insulated downpipe and a modified intake to form a complete performance package. This is rounded off by customized ECU calibration on the dyno. We do not develop downpipes and exhaust systems as isolated parts; instead, we design them so that legal regulations are met even when combined with a downpipe, intake, and performance upgrade, making the joint registration of all components possible. To achieve this, our systems are extensively tested on the dyno, at the TÜV, and in emissions laboratories.
